Meet Venus, a new member of our family! Venus and her brother Jupiter are Nubian goats. Venus was born on March 3, 2019 in Belen, New Mexico. Since her mother’s name is Galaxy we thought she needed a“Space” name. Venus is the Roman Goddess of Love and Beauty. Her name is fitting as she is a loving and beautiful goat, . . AND loved!

 

Venus found her way to Finding Hiawatha in May of 2019. She was bred to be a show goat but she had genetic traits which were not best for show world. We feel lucky because now she is a member of our growing family. Venus is a  co-therapist in training.
