Ernie found his forever home at Finding Hiawatha in January 2019. At the time of his adoption
he was estimated to be about two years old. Ernie was said to have bad behaviors such as going
to the bathroom outside of his kitty box and being aggressive to the neighborhood dogs. He has
not exhibited any of these behaviors since being at the ranch.

 

Ernie lives in the upstairs part of the barn where he is a co-therapist by day and has access to the downstairs part of the barn at
night for his duties as Rodent Manager. Ernie is very much a people cat. He loves being pet and
laying on laps. Ernie loves his role in helping people heal.
